PA CASA announces December book club.

PA CASA is excited to announce our next selection for the upcoming December Book Club discussion. We will be exploring the deeply moving and thought-provoking work—Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption by Bryan Stevenson. As a profoundly personal account of Stevenson’s experiences as a lawyer and founder of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI), this book takes readers on a journey through the criminal justice system in America, shedding light on systemic issues while offering hope for change.

For readers, Just Mercy is not just a book about legal battles; it’s a call to reflect on our collective responsibility towards creating a more equitable society. Stevenson masterfully weaves stories of individual cases with broader reflections on history, culture, and the ongoing fight for justice.

It’s easy to join!
