Volunteer Preservice Training begins February 12, 2024.

Become a part of Susquehanna Valley CASA and lend your voice for a child in the foster care and dependency court system. Giving your voice as a Court Appointed Special Advocate can help a child in Northumberland, Lycoming, Union or Snyder Counties have a brighter future. With a CASA volunteer like you, children are more likely to succeed in school, spend less time in care without a permanent safe home and are half as likely to re-enter the foster care system. To learn more about being a CASA, visit our faq page.

Our next preservice training class begins February 12, 2024. Join us for 6 weeks. Each week we host one live 3-hour session via zoom followed by independent online classroom assignments. The 30-hour curriculum, designed by National CASA, provides you with the training and education that you need to use your voice to advocate for a child in need.

Start Your Journey today by submitting an inquiry. You will receive a full application by email. Completed application must be received by January 15, 2024 to be eligible for our February class.

There’s a child waiting. Why are you?
